Take some rest and later on, proceed to explore the striking attractions of Cochin which is also referred as Kochi. Post breakfast proceed towards Munnar, the pristinely beautiful hill station of South India which is located at a distance of 160 Km from Cochin. It takes around 4 hours to reach it. After lunch explore the lush beauty of this premium hill station which is situated at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 ft above the sea level at the confluence of Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. Proceed to visit the Tea Museum which portrays the growth of Munnar as a tea estate. Enjoy a cup of tea along with the demonstration of the history of tea in Munnar. In the morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and take a drive towards Thekkady which is located at a distance of 120 Km from Munnar. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up the images of long nature walks, elephant rides, spice-scented gardens, lush green surroundings and un-ending chain of hills covered with verdant greenery. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and freshen up. Later on, proceed to explore the Periyar wildlife sanctuary which is a home to some of the rare species of exotic flora and fauna. In the evening enjoy boating at Periyar Lake and visit the Murikkady to enjoy the panoramic visuals of cardamom, coffee and pepper plantations. After a srumptious breakfast drive towards Alleppey which is 147 Km from Thekkady and is a hub of Kerala backwaters. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and freshen up. Later on, visit the Alleppy beach, Marari Beach, enjoy a boat ride on backwater canals and visit the Mullakkal Bhagavathy Temple etc. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
