Your Leh tourism package will start at Leh Airport, where you will be greeted by one of our local representatives, who will drive you to a beautiful Ladakhi style guesthouse. Spend the rest of the day after a hearty lunch in getting acclimatized to the arid, high altitude of Leh. Later in the evening, you will be driven to the Shanti Stupa to watch the sun set amidst a picturesque backdrop of mountains. You will then be taken back to the hotel where you can retire for the day.

Day two of your ladakh holiday package is dedicated to sightseeing around Leh. You will be covering about 98km during this fun-filled excursion. You will start the day by visiting some age-old monasteries before you head out to Shey Gompa, which is at a distance of 15 km from Leh. Shey Gompa was once the palace of the erstwhile kings of Ladakh. Stroll around the palace before you set out to Thiksey Gompa, which is yet another Tibetan monastery. You will then proceed to Hemis Monastery which is the largest and most famous of all the monasteries in Ladakh. Next, it is time for a quick Sindhughard Darshan to Holy Indus River before you head out to Aamir Khan School Or 3 Idiots’ shoot school. Your day of sightseeing will end at Leh Palace, which was built way back in the 17th century by King Sengge Namgyal of the Namgyal Dynasty.

After a quick, early breakfast, you will head out to Pangong Lake. En route, you will cross Changla Pass, which is at an altitude of 17,570 feet above sea level. The lake is also among the clouds, at an altitude of 13,930 feet. The main attraction of this lake is that it flows into a narrow basin of inland drainage, which is 125 km long but just 7 km at its widest point. This basin demarcates the border between India and China. It is not until recently that the Indian government opened it to tourist for viewing under strict army surveillance. Revel in the beauty of nature at its best before you head back to Leh for the night.

The best is saved for the last. On day four, you will head out to Khardung La Pass. This is the highest motor-able road in the whole world that takes you to a dizzying height of 5,600 meters. You will feel like you are at the top of the world, once you reach this point. The panoramic views of the valley and mountains will leave you dumbstruck. Soak in the beauty and marvel around you before you descend back to town. Enjoy the rest of the evening shopping and strolling around the local market at your own leisure. You will be escorted to Sangam later in the evening. This is the meeting point of the two rivers - Indus and Zanskar. If time permits, you will also be taken to Magnetic Hill, which is said to defy the law of gravity. It is said that a vehicle parked in neutral on this road will slide and further almost magically. Other places you will visit on day four include Gurdwara Patthar Sahib and Ladakh Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame in particular is a worthy visit. It is a glorious war-cum-history museum build by the Indian Army.

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, you will be taken back to Leh airport for your onward journey.
